Hi, I’m Dr. Courtney Lewis, Director of Enrollment Services at TVCC. In my role, I provide leadership for the College’s recruiting, admissions, and academic advising functions, helping shape the enrollment experience for students across TVCC. One of the most meaningful parts of my work, however, is the opportunity to continue serving as the dedicated academic advisor for the TVCC Cardettes.
My connection to the Cardettes began long before my current role. I was a member of the 56th Line of the TVCC Cardettes and later served as Student Body President, experiences that played an important role in shaping both my time at TVCC and the career that followed. The opportunity to now give back to an organization that had such a profound impact on my own life is both personally meaningful and a responsibility I value deeply.
Because I have been in your shoes, I understand firsthand the unique experience of balancing academics with practices, performances, travel, friendships, leadership, and the many expectations that come with representing TVCC as a Cardette. My goal is to provide you with a level of individualized support that makes the academic side of that experience easier to navigate while keeping you focused on your degree, your future, and everything you hope to accomplish beyond TVCC.
Whether we are planning your next semester, reviewing your progress toward graduation, working through an academic concern, or determining your next step, you have direct access to me throughout your time as a Cardette. Serving as your advisor is one of the ways I am proud to give back to the program that helped shape who I am today.
